BE HEARD WITH AURIGA
MILTON KEYNES, UK – 1 November 2005 - Auriga Europe Plc, the Milton
Keynes-based distributor of structured cabling, networking systems and
accessories has announced the expansion of their voice management range of
products.
Since the company’s inception in 1989 as a distributor of fibre optic cable and
accessories, AURIGA has continued to push the boundaries of its product range
further with each successive year. Having added copper structured cabling
solutions from industry-respected manufacturers such as 3M, HellermannTyton and
Tyco Amp NetConnect, it was only logical that Auriga would expand further to
offer customers a full range of products for voice installations.
Auriga features multi-pair telephone cable conforming to British Telecom CW
specifications for internal (CW1308), internal/external (CW1308B) and external
(CW1128) applications. Pair counts of up 200 are available.
A high density voice panel from AUSTIN TAYLOR uses a 1U high 19” rack-mounted
panel design. Unlike standard 24-port CAT5e/CAT6 designs, the high-density panel
give 50 x RJ45 voice ports with each port capable of carrying up to three voice
pairs.
Austin Taylor also supplies a full range of BT-style linejacks. Many different
permutations of master/slave, single/twin socket, screw/IDC terminal and
PSTN/PBX are in stock. All are supplied complete with back box and moulded in
robust white ABS.
Voice adaptors from Austin Taylor convert an RJ45 outlet to a BT style socket,
allowing telephones to be used in a structured cabling system. PSTN master, PBX
master, Secondary and ISDN adaptors are available. A BT style voice module in
the popular 25 x 50mm size to fit modular faceplates is offered together with
10-pair 237A IDC strips for use with connection boxes and frames.

testing in the shape of IDEAL INDUSTRIES VDV (voice-data-video) multimedia cable
tester. Designed for testing in residential and commercial environments, the VDV
