Keynes-based distributor of structured cabling, networking systems and
accessories has announced a key new partnership for the distribution of the
PRYSMIAN range of fibre interconnectivity products.
Complementing Auriga’s existing range of cabling system products, the Prysmian
OAsys Connectivity range provides total fibre management in a compact footprint.
Single fibre or single circuit management is available depending on the network
requirements.
The OAsys range includes products for each part of today’s communication
networks, trunk, metro or access. Classified into Central Office, External and
Customer products, the whole range is designed to be compatible with both
traditional cable installations and blown fibre from the Prysmian Sirocco Blown
Fibre range.
In order to ensure utterly reliable operation as the network evolves, fibre
management has been taken to a new level. Total control of fibre, tube and cable
routing ensures that as transmission speeds increase and Wavelength Division
Multiplexing is employed to further increase the network capacity, the lowest
and most stable optical losses are achieved.
In order to allow flexible system architecture design, passive products such as
splitters and multiplexers can be integrated into both the racking and jointing
products.
The OAsys range is fully scalable using standard building blocks. These building
blocks are available from Auriga and are part of the extensive range of
networking products available for next day shipment throughout the UK.
