OPTRONICS OPTICAL FIBRE CABLE FROM AURIGA

Auriga is proud to announce a major expansion to its Optronics ranges of high quality optical fibre components, patchcords and pigtails – optical fibre cables.

The Optronics brand is known not only for its cost effectiveness, but also, even more so, for its consistent high quality and true value for money. And so it is with the new range of Optical Fibre Cables.

Available immediately are multimode 62.5 and 50/125 to full OM1 and OM2 fibre specifications (OM3 will follow shortly), and singlemode to the full OS1 specification. These are all available in industry standard fibre counts, in loose tube or tight buffer cable constructions, within LSZH jackets for internal and external applications.

The loose tube cables, being the more likely to be used in ducts where rodents might be present, contain E-Glass strength members, rather than standard aramid yarns, to offer increased rodent resistance.

Graham Lipson, Auriga’s Managing Director, commented “We’re still fully supporting our long term partners, Brand-Rex’s and Tyco’s premium brand ranges, and l expect to see them both continuing to grow. However just as has happened with copper, we’re noticing a growing part of the market, where the brand name is less important to our customers. Optronics ranges already have an excellent reputation for quality and cost effectiveness, which we’re now extending into optical fibre cables.”
