AURIGA INTRODUCES NEW LOW COST OPTI-LINK RANGE


MILTON KEYNES, UK – 12 November 2004 - Auriga Europe Plc, the Milton Keynes-based distributor of structured cabling, networking systems and accessories has launched a new range of value-for-money fibre optic patchcords and pigtails under the OPTI-LINK brand name.

Designed to compete at the no brand, low cost end of the market, OPTI-LINK patchcords are available in 62.5/125µm and 50/125µm specifications. The ten most popular duplex combinations are available including ST, SC, MT-RJ and LC connector types. All patchcords are available in a choice of 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m or 10m cable lengths. OPTI-LINK pigtails are also available in both 62.5/125µm and 50/125µm specifications, with a choice of ST, SC, MT-RJ or LC connectors. All pigtails are 1m in length.

Commenting upon the launch of the new range, Auriga Managing Director Graham Lipson said “The OPTI-LINK range has been introduced so that Auriga can offer the widest choice of products to our customers.
