IT’S ABOUT TIME - AURIGA INTRODUCES THE NEW FLUKE DTX SERIES
MILTON KEYNES, UK - 5 May 2004 - Auriga Europe Plc, the Milton Keynes-based distributor of structured cabling, networking systems and accessories has announced the introduction of the new DTX Cable Digital Cable Analyser series from Fluke Networks.
The emphasis is firmly on unprecedented levels of speed and accuracy that Fluke profess is matched by no other certification tester. The Fluke DTX Cable Analyser can certify a Cat6 link in 12 seconds at Level IV accuracy – three times faster than any other available tester.
Fluke estimates that features such as 900MHz of testing bandwidth, optional on-board fibre modules, easily understood diagnostics and a 12-hour battery life could save up to 33% of certification costs per year. Specification requirements for Cat5E, Cat6 and Cat 7 are exceeded with superior Level IV accuracy. 900MHz bandwidth is ideal for future applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Class F and CATV.
Optional resident fibre modules allow switching between copper and fibre at the push of a button. Advanced diagnostics saves time, pinpointing faults and suggesting corrective actions. Features such as an extended 12-hour battery life and full colour display further enhance user productivity.
