Premium systems distributor Auriga introduces 3 new and exciting product additions from Brand-Rex.

The first new product is spearheaded by the CAT6Plus U/UTP ‘Cable Reel in a Box’. This cable has outstanding electrical characteristics and a robust platform for demanding, high bandwidth applications. It realises a positive ACR well beyond 500 MHz. This ensures a future-proof category 6 system and provides the user with a network ready to meet the challenge of tomorrows IT needs.

The second new product is a CAT6Plus 48 Port Unshielded Patchpanel. The latch design has improved and panel face fixing screws now offer protection to maintain the high quality aesthetic finish. A stepped PCB gives improved wiring label visibility and wide punch-down blocks easier termination. Individual RJ45 sockets create greater space for larger booted patchcords.

The third new product is for floor-box applications. The angled shuttered module is designed to accept all Brand-Rex MillenniuM Cat 5e/6 jacks. The 6C module has an integrated spring-loaded shutter mechanism that ensures the avoidance of dust ingress and dirt, avoiding risk of damage to the jack contacts when not in use. The module is angled at 45° to provide reduced depth requirement in the back and a 45° exit angle for patchcords.
