logical that Auriga would further expand its Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
range.
Auriga features a new ModularEasy system, a brand new technology for dynamic
management of the paralleling power extension of single-phase UPS’s as of 2kVA,
launched in last months CeBIT show in Hanover.
This major technological improvement completes an assortment of new features
such as a Hot Swap function throughout the range to increase manageability and
guarantee the greatest flexibility and availability with a minimum cost of
ownership.
When the UPS and ModularEasy are paralleled, the assembly automatically manages
optimal application availability by switching, according to load changes, to
power extension or redundancy mode. This means that the remaining UPS power,
sometimes underused by the protected equipment due to overrating, can be
utilized to provide redundancy for backup. With the supervision solutions
offered, administrators are instantly informed of all operating mode
modifications. They can even program the sequenced shutdown of servers for each
mode to ensure data integrity in all circumstances, an absolute must for data
center environments.
On the Pulsar and Pulsar M models, unlike the existing "proprietary" solutions,
the "HotSwap MBP" unit connection system allows a UPS to be replaced by another
model or rating, ensuring continuous power supply even during maintenance or
updating operations.
