iTRACS Sensor Pen
The Sensor Pen, used to map, document, and troubleshoot sensor port and pin functionality, plugs into the Analyzer's modular jack (RJ11), located on the far right of the front panel of the Analyzer. A simple touch of the pen to any port sensor contact, while holding down the button on the pen, will collect data for that port.
AMPTRAC Sensor Strips
Sensor Strips are available for all standard network equipment and structured cabling components such as routers, switches, hubs, and AMP NETCONNECT 110 patch panels. The sensor strips and AMPTRAC patch cords create an external real time sensory circuit, isolating AMPTRAC communication from the network, with no impact on data flow, system integrity, or network performance. Up to 24 ports can be monitored per sensor strip. Detailed information is needed concerning the product that is to be monitored, especially the LAN electronics, so that the proper sensor strip can be obtained. AMP NETCONNECT will assist in selecting the proper sensor strip.
