AMPTRAC Patch Cable Assemblies
AMPTRAC patch cable assemblies are similar to standard patch cables with one important addition. The AMPTRAC patch cords have an unobtrusive, external probe built into the boot of the cord just above the connector. This probe makes contact with a conductive pad on the Sensor Strip beside each port. This creates a circuit connection with real time patch cable connect and disconnect tracking. Because the AMPTRAC system automatically manages and reports on the connectivity, the necessity to utilize coloured patch cords is eliminated. Category 5e, Category 6 and fibre optic (MT-RJ and SC) AMPTRAC patch cords are available.
AMPTRAC Analyzer (I/O) Cable Assemblies
The analyzer I/O cable assemblies come in a 24-wire configuration with two distinct connectors. One connector is a dual pin configuration for connecting to the Analyzer. The other is a flat quick clip connector for connecting to the flex-sensor strip. Another version of the analyzer I/O cable is available for use when using a PCB-sensor strip used on some versions of LAN electronics.
AMPTRAC Link Cable Assemblies
The Link cable assemblies are used for connecting the Link Analyzer(s) (1U or 6U) to the Master Analyzer. Link cable assemblies are available in lengths of 1, 4, 7, 14, 25, and 50 feet.
