The SMC6709GL2/SMC6708L2 switches are compact, intelligent, standalone Fast
Ethernet Switches with 8 auto-MDIX 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX ports. SMC6709GL2 has
a Built-in gigabit fiber uplink for distance connection of up to 550 meters.
With an aggregated bandwidth of up to 3.6/1.6Gbps, these TigerSwitches are
equipped with a non-blocking switching architecture and features that are
designed for today’s diverse needs for multimedia applications. Some of the
advanced features include QoS IEEE802.1Q VLAN’s, GVRP and priority queuing
that ensures the smooth delivery of mission critical data and security of
different multicast groups. The SMC6709GL2/SMC6708L2 switches are perfect
