SMC6709FL2 is an intelligent standalone Fast Ethernet Switch with 8 auto-MDIX
10BASE-T/100BASE-TX ports and 1 100BASE-FX MMF port. Via the 100BASE-FX MMF
with SC connector, the switch can be connected to distant backbone of up to
2kilometers away. With an aggregated bandwidth of up to 2.0 Gbps, it has a
non-blocking switching architecture and features that are designed for
today’s diverse needs for multimedia applications. Some of the advanced
features include QoS IEEE802.1Q VLAN’s, GVRP and priority queuing that
ensure the smooth delivery of mission critical data and security of
different multicast groups. SMC6709FL2 is perfect for small or medium
