D’Gel fibre optic gel cleaning solution

 

Designed to quickly, easily and effectively remove interstitial cable filling compounds without damage to jacketing, tools, gloves or operators hands, painted surfaces, equipment etc.

• Safe replacement for chlorinated solvents, kerosenes, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and other mineral spirits - does not contain any halogenated solvents or suspected carcinogens, teratogens or mutagens

a. Physical and chemical hazards

Eye contact

May cause irritation, tearing and redness. Does not injure eye.

Skin contact

Prolonged or repeated contact with skin may cause defatting or dryness of skin. Continued dryness may cause dermatitis.

Inhalation

Excessive inhalation of vapours can cause irritation of the respiratory tract, nausea, dizziness or headache.  Wipes will prevent inhalation

Ingestion

Product has low order of acute oral toxicity.

Material can form flammable mixtures or can burn only on heating to temperatures at or above the flash point.

Eye contact

Flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention.

Skin contact

Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing

Inhalation

If affected by vapours, get to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, seek medical attention.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Product contains hydrocarbons. Get medical attention.

Will cause eye discomfort but will not injure eye tissue.
