A variety of standard coupler packages and pigtail options are available as well as connectorised versions, if required. Non-standard devices can be supplied on request. All Optronics couplers conform to stringent environmental and mechanical standards to give high reliability for a variety of field applications. Optronics couplers are designed in accordance with Telcordia 1209 and 1221 standards for network applications requiring superior performance and long-term reliability. They are available in multiple split ratios with 250mm, 900mm, 3mm heavy-duty jacketed single mode fibre, LGX modules and cassette enclosures for a variety of applications from signal monitoring to distribution. leading Optronics range of connectors, and the cable exceeds all areas of the standards.
The Optronics range of products has grown through the years, from industry standard patch cords to specialist Mode conditioning patch cords, Optronics can supply them all.
Non-standard products can be made to your own exacting standards in our ISO 9001 production facility. This encompasses all of the essential tools to ensure the products not only meet, but exceed the requirements laid down by the IEC international standards for fibre optic terminations.
Fibre Optic Couplers
1 x 2 couplers in test can conform to Bellcore TR-NWT-001209. There are two sized multimode couplers; the larger version measures (L)100mm, (W)80mm,(H)9mm whilst the compact version, only available as a 1x2, measures (L)100mm, (W)19mm, (H)9mm. Multimode couplers are available as both Symmetric and Asymmetric. Singlemode couplers are available as Standard, Wavelength Flattened and Wide band.
The operating temperature of the couplers is -40°C to +85°C whilst the storage temperature is -50°C to +85°C.

Each Splitter is packaged individually and individually identified for traceability, test certification is supplied for each assembly. |
