Description

These Single Loose Tube cables are robustly constructed of colour coded 250um coated fibres contained in a central gel filled tube, which is wrapped by a layer of water blocking tape between it and the corrugated steel tape armour to prevent water ingress. These are then enclosed in a black LSZH outer jacket, meeting IEC fire performance requirements, within which are contained two steel strength members, running along the length of the cable, to give the cable its 1800N pulling strength.

Fibre counts of 4 thru’ 24 fibres are available in all four standard specifications – OM1, OM2 & OM3, and OS1 fibres.

- Internal and external duct (or lashed aerial with catenary) use
- Campus links without the need for transition cable splicing
- On-site fibre splicing and direct termination
- Compact design for limited conduit space
