Media Converter

The MC1000 family is a 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX Gigabit Ethernet Media converter. It features one STP RJ-45 1000Base-T port and one port to fibre optic cabling full-duplex mode operation. Full duplex cabling provides bandwidth up to 2000Mbps and allows the transmission distance of up to 550m over multimode fibre and up to 20Km (12.4ml) over single mode fibre. The SC connector is standardized for interfacing fibre cable. The converters can be used as a standalone unit (wall mountable) or as a slide-in module in the 19 media conversion rack (up to 16 converters) for use in a central wiring closet
