Media Converter

The Optronics MEDIACON100TX-FX is a 100Base-TX to 100Base-FX Ethernet Media Converter. It features one STP RJ-45 100Base-TX Port and one port to fibre optic cabling. UTP N-way auto-negotiation set UTP speed and full or half-duplex mode operation. Full duplex cabling provides a bandwidth of up to 200Mbps and allows the transmission distance up to 2Km over multimode fibre and up to 75Km over Single mode fibre. The standard fibre interface is duplex SC connectors. The converters can be used as a stand-alone unit (wall mounted) or as a slide in module in the 19" Media conversion rack (up to 16 converters) for use at a central wiring closet.
