HELLERMANN TYTON’s GigaBand HD (high density) Category 6 patch panels exceed the latest performance standards proposed by the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25/WG3 standards committee. Both panel ranges are ideally suited to run the latest protocols such as 1000Base T and 622 ATM and are backward compatible with Category 5E and 5 systems. The PCB's used within these panels are also interchangeable with either GigaBand or GigaBand Triple (high density) wall outlets for installation flexibility and both panels include our unique aluminium snap-on rear cable manager and a set of Rack-Snap rack inserts as standard.

 

  • Exceeds proposed channel ISO/IEC JTC1/SC 25/WG3 for Category 6, backward compatible to Cat 5E and Cat 5.

  • 568A or 568B wiring options.

  • PCB's interchangeable with GigaBand or GigaBand HD Triple outlets.

  • Supplied with aluminium rear cable management and rack-snap inserts.

  • Slide label system + software available.

  • Jack life min. 1000 insertions, IDC contact life up to 50 re-insertions.

  • Max. of two wires per IDC contact (same gauge), wire gauge 22-26 AWG.

  • Maximum diameter of wire including insulation 1.44mm diameter.

  • Insertion loss > -0.25dB worst pair, channel worst pair cross talk @200MHZ :-39.1dB (Cat 6 limit -34.8dB) , approved by DELTA EC, return loss better than -15dB@ 200MHz (Cat 6 limit -9dB), worst pair ELFEXT -21.4dB.

  • Dimensions and weights: 1U panel: 484 x 50 x 44mm (wdh), 1kg; 2U panel: 484 x 50 x 88mm (wdh), 2kg.
